Thank you so much for the session today Nikki. I was feeling so unsure about babywearing and my little boy didn’t seem to be a fan of the carrier. But within no time you showed me how to confidently fit my carrier and some great support in settling him. I’m happy to say we are using the carrier every day and he loves it! Plus I can get things done and its really helping us bond. Thank you!

BABYWEARING 101 WORKSHOPS

Nikki our Director & SlingaBaby Consultant is available for group bookings either in your home, at a venue or as part of an organization.

Like the idea of Babywearing but don’t know where to start? This 2 hour workshop is perfect for pregnancy or new parents. This can be taught in a group (why not grab your NCT or New Mum group?) and you will learn about safety, positive impact, positioning of baby, different wraps & carriers and learn what is a good fit for you and how to fit correctly.

BACK CARRY WORKSHOPS

Back carry’s are fantastic as babies get older (suitable from 6 months) as they are able to see better, with the added support and comfort of leaning into you. So perfect for long walks and hikes. Baby/Toddler/Child can fall asleep and be in a back carry as long as you like. Its a great alternative to outward facing. Taught in a group of 4 - 6, we will show you two methods of how to safely get your baby in and out of a back carry using specialist babywearing weighted dolls. By the end you will have perfected one method that you favor and be able to get your baby/toddler in and out safely. Lots of support and tips, plus tutorials to have after the session and ongoing support.
