“Hi I’m Nikki! I'm the founder & CEO of Dance Like a Mother and started teaching Babywearing Dance in 2016 when my daughter Ellie was just 5 months old (madness!).

The couples class is one of my favorite classes to teach. To see everyone holding hands, dancing together is just an absolute joy. It really is like a night out.

Also having the partners able to come and wear baby and experience it is great (I think they think we just do naff dancing!) but they really get into it and have a great time.

“ Hi I’m Sian,

When I fell pregnant with my second son I was so eager to try DLAM. I danced and performed as a child and knew it would be right up my street! When I arrived I soon realized they were unlike any other baby classes I'd done - probably because they're actually, primarily, mum classes, with a real focus on creating uplifting moments for parents (happy babies are a welcome side effect!)

I returned back to secondary teaching for a while at the end of my maternity leave, but after 12 years of this and now two little ones of my own, I decided that a change was needed... and DLAM came right back into my life with this amazing opportunity to become an instructor and to share the joys of babywearing, dancing and this beautiful parenting community with you”
